About Prime Laser Solutions
Prime Laser Solutions is a mobile laser cleaning business based in Proserpine, Queensland. We remove rust, paint, coatings, grease and carbon from machinery, vehicles, boats and structures across the Whitsundays, Mackay, the Bowen Basin and North Queensland, with a safe, professional setup on every job.
Built from the workshop floor
Prime Laser Solutions was established in Proserpine by a former auto electrician and workshop manager. After struggling to find a local service capable of cleaning a vehicle chassis, a gap in the market for professional laser cleaning services became clear. What began as a practical solution to a personal need quickly developed into a business dedicated to providing efficient, high-quality surface cleaning solutions across the Whitsundays and surrounding regions.
Founded in March 2026 by Stuart Drury.
Today we bring industrial laser cleaning to workshops, mine maintenance crews, farms, marinas and restorers across the region. We know what downtime costs, so we turn up when we say we will, do the job properly and leave the site clean.

Our lasers are Class 4 industrial lasers, so safety isn't optional. Every job, big or small, follows the same setup.
Laser safety trained
Our operators have completed industrial laser safety training.
Cordoned work zone
Every job has a cordoned work area, sized to the job, so no one walks into the laser zone.
Screens, tape and signage
Dedicated laser safety screens, danger tape and signage mark out the work area.
Deadman switch
Our lasers use a deadman switch, so the laser stops the moment the trigger is released.
Laser safety glasses
Laser safety glasses are worn on every job.
HEPA fume extraction
HEPA fume extraction on every job captures the fumes and fine particles that come off.
Tagged and tested
All equipment is tagged and tested and run through an RCD.
SWMS and JSA supplied
Safe work method statements and job safety analyses are supplied for all business customers.
Outdoor jobs are weather dependent, as the equipment can't run in the rain. Business customers are invoiced on 7-day terms, and private customers pay on completion.
