Last updated 20 October 2026

Who we are

This privacy policy explains how Prime Laser Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 94 703 057 998), trading as Prime Laser Solutions ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, stores and shares personal information. We are a mobile laser cleaning business based in Proserpine, Queensland.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles as a matter of good practice.

What we collect

We only collect the information we need to quote, book and carry out your job. This may include:

  • your name and business name
  • your phone number and email address
  • your town, the job location and site access details
  • details about the item or surface to be cleaned, including photos you send us
  • billing details needed to invoice you, such as your business name and ABN
  • records of our calls, emails and messages with you

We don't ask for sensitive information, and we never collect payment card numbers through our website.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you call, email or text us, send us photos, or talk to us on site.

The quote form on our website does not store or send your information. It simply prepares an email in your own email app, which you then choose to send to us. Nothing you type is saved on our website.

How we use it

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote
  • plan, book and carry out the work, including on-site safety paperwork such as SWMS and JSA
  • invoice you and keep business records
  • follow up on your job or answer questions about it
  • meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations

We won't send you marketing messages unless you've asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.

Photos of your job

We often take before and after photos of the work we do. We may use these photos on our website and social media to show our work, but we'll ask your permission first, and we won't show anything that identifies you, your business or your site address unless you're happy for us to.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We only share it when we need to, with:

  • service providers who help us run the business, such as our email, file storage, accounting and website hosting providers
  • our accountant, insurer or legal advisers, where needed
  • anyone you've asked us to deal with on your behalf, such as a site manager
  • government or law enforcement bodies, where the law requires it

Some of our service providers, such as our email provider, may store information on servers outside Australia. We use reputable providers that take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Our website, cookies and analytics

Like most websites, our site and hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This helps keep the site secure and running properly.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. We may also use cookies or analytics tools to understand how people use the site. These don't tell us who you are, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Our website links to other sites. We're not responsible for how those sites handle your information.

How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Information is stored in password-protected accounts and devices, and only the people who need it to do their job can access it.

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for as long as the law requires for business and tax records. After that we delete or de-identify it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Just contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and we won't charge you for making a request.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question about privacy or think we've mishandled your information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it:

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
