AfterSteel beams
- The job
- Two lengths of steel box section, one with old blue paint and one with surface rust.
- What we did
- Laser cleaned both back to bare steel. The video shows the laser at work.
Cat dump truck diff centre
- The job
- Heavy rust, caked grease and old yellow paint on a dump truck differential centre before rebuild.
- What we did
- Laser cleaned back to bare metal with our 500W laser. No blast media left in the housing.
- Time
- About 2.5 hours
Hydraulic cylinders
- The job
- Yellow mining paint on a set of hydraulic cylinders.
- What we did
- Paint stripped to bare steel, with the chrome rods left untouched.
V8 engine block
- The job
- Rust, grime and old paint on a V8 engine block.
- What we did
- Cleaned back to bare metal and ready for the machine shop, with casting detail intact.
Steel wheel rim
- The job
- Heavy rust across a steel wheel rim.
- What we did
- Rust removed back to bright bare metal.
Mining component housing
- The job
- A large mining component housing needing a full clean.
- What we did
- Laser cleaned on site in the customer's workshop, with cast detail preserved.
Hydraulic components

- A batch of painted hydraulic components on fixture plates.

- Paint removed from the full batch back to clean metal.
